The white stag is one of the rarest and most mysterious creatures in the world.
They guide great heroes to their destiny, speak words of wisdom to open ears-- some scholars think they're heavenly beings sent to live on Aerith by Y'shua as a reminder of heaven.
According to folklore, the founders of Sanctuary were guided to the site where the city would be by a white stag.
During the Wandering Times, the future founder of the Sojourner church was led on a chase through the woods by a white stag, where he met a wandering human minister, who had been following a white stag, and that's how the church was founded.
