Retcon

Retcon is derived from the phrase "retroactive continuity change", which is when an ongoing story has its backstory revised. In the case of Goblin Hollow, a retcon was used to change the description (and therefore nature) of The Posse from creations of Ben's mind to living creatures in their own right, goblins.

Unconfirmed Information
The following items were mentioned in the previous incarnation of the webcomic, Under the Lemon Tree, but have not yet been repeated in Goblin Hollow. They are describe here for continuity, and have not yet earned their own article in this wiki.
- tulpa There is a Tibetan belief that says a person with a strong enough mind can manifest their thoughts into a living being. Pre-retcon, The Posse were eventually described with this term.
- Digipokemon A children's TV show in the Under the Lemon Tree universe, describe by Velvet and Gunther as "Lots of cute, cuddly loveable magical creatures-" "Who pound da snot outta each udder inna ring. It's da Reese's Peanut Butter Cup of cartoons!"
