Quentyn son of Quinn (TOTQ)

Quentyn, son of Quinn is the character that Tales of the Questor revolves around most of the time. He is a young Racconnan who is now commonly known as the questor of Freeman Downs. Being the first questor in roughly one hundred years, he is, originally, often ridiculed by those around him, especially by his rival, Rahan. Though he has proven himself a number of times, often he manages unintentionally to do something that lowers his fame right back down.
Before becoming a questor, Quentyn tried his hand at almost everything else, but his small size and limited aptitude for lux use (he received a black ribbon on his luxcrafting test) meant that most of the things that interested him weren't open to him.
Quentyn had always been fascinated by questors and wished to be like them. He didn't dye his forelock to resemble Quentyn of Ridgedale. It has been growing paler since the white stag licked him, possibly in a dream.
When Quentyn was little, whenever he knew he was in trouble, he'd sneak in through the kitchen.
Quentyn suffers from terrible stage fright.
Quentyn's nightly routine includes getting on his knees to pray.
His friends Kestrel and Fen call him by the nicknames "Quen" or "Quenny".
His father's name is Quinn, hence the structure of his name.
He meets Sam after he passes through the mistwall.

Personality
Normally, Quentyn is a soft spoken racconnan. He rarely ever raises his voice or insults others unless someone violates his personal code. Even then, manning up and putting a punk in his place or telling a king off after getting disrespected puts a lot of strain on him. His simple upbringing has instilled in him personal responsibility and a moral foundation perfect for the role of questor. Quentyn would rather do something by himself than rely on others. He has even gone so far as to battle two gangs in the lower part of Sanctuary and bring one of their bases down on top of them just to get his sword back. Although sub-par in most normal racconnan careers, the combination of his dedication and willpower with a few points of luck and a blessing from God makes this little racconan a hero to many
Gear
His weapon of choice is Wildcard, a bonded short sword that was originally a practice tool for artifactors. He also keeps on him his Journey Boots, Glimmer Rope, and an Elfshot Pistol.
Titles
Quentyn has received the following titles during his adventures:
- Questor of Freeman Downs: Awarded by the town council of Freeman Downs after he declared his challenge on Choosing Day.
- Min H'yung Kyadaum (little big killer or little god-slayer): Awarded by the Gragum, after he sliced through three Gragum in the Dire Swamp.
- Hunter of Shadows: Awarded by the Brownies, after he killed the Rat King in the sewers under Sanctuary City.
- One of Oberon's Untouched: Revealed to him by one of the fae after the Wild Hunt but conferred on his people long before his birth.
