Freeman Downs is one of the Seven Villages of the Rac Cona Daimh. It is the last of the seven major villages to have been founded.

History
Freeman Downs was founded as a village on land given to Quentyn, Questor of Ridgedale in and around the township of the same name for services rendered to the Archivist Guild.
Its land was parceled out mainly to former residents of Silver Springs by the daughter of Quentyn of Ridgedale.
The town faced a crisis when informed that Quentyn of Ridgedale's contract was left unfulfilled, and that naming a new questor had made them liable for the fulfillment of the contract. This was revealed to be a plot to shift the balance of political power by removing the representatives of Freeman Downs from the governing body. That plot was foiled when Quentyn Quinn agreed to leave Antillia to fulfill the contract.
Production
Freeman Downs is an agricultural town, specializing in fruit, especially melons, making it the darling of Antillian agriculture.
