From RHJunior Comics Wiki
Brittany Ogelmeyer (aka The Brain) is the childhood friend of Chris Taylor and local genius of Cedar Springs. A week after enrolling into kindergarten with Chris, she was bumped up to high school and two years later she was taking college courses by mail. According to Chris, she has degrees in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, physics and she "Dabbles in a dozen other fields." At the start of Chris' origin story, she was about to head off to college personally rather than to mail and attempting to get into Sociology. However, she is denied repeatably because most colleges wanted her to take an Engineering course. However, she wants to study sociology because "..part of being an inventor is understanding society."
However, she needs to prove she's good enough to the college by doing a thesis on a socio-political topic. Her choice is what sets Chris on his new path. "The Fisher Kings. Cultural indicators and influences within the context of superhero people." A study of superheros that helps awaken Chris' powers.
Abilities and Equipment
Brittany is a super genius. She has atleast give college degrees and hasn't even entered her late twenties. At the start of the story, she was attempting to gain another, however Chris' awakening has apparently made her rethink that and she is staying behind to assist him. It helps that she has a strong understanding on how super abilities work, explaining about Kirilian Aura and the L-Field.
Brittany has a habit to upgrade or improve anything she's made. From a jump-start box she made via a taser and a Ni-cad, a voice activated phone, to a combination CB-phone-GPS commonly used by Chris to get information on the fly from her homemade supercomputer.
Her home/lab is a large trailer covered in warning signs named The Beast. Inside is all of her equipment for upgrading normally mundane items into equipment fit for a Super.
The latest project she was seen working on was Chris' sunglasses he wears to hide his eyes. It is unknown what it will do when it's finished.
