Yup. Insurance premiums are definitely expected to rise. Lotsa damage, there.

OTOH, he's definitely got something he can sell to the government. Pretty impressive ICBM killer if you can aim it.

That's might explain the footprints. A vitrified surface would cool fairly quickly while blocking the heat behind it.

Except Pirta isn't smiling. I'm not sure we've ever seen Florence with an angry expression. Annoyed, yes... but the teeth have mostly been forgetting that she shouldn't smile like a human.
